Jack is in the ICU with what we thought was just Hydrocephalus. Turns out our sweet baby boy has a large tumor on more than half of his spine. Doctors are unsure of how aggressive this tumor is and wont know until they biopsy it. They say it is likely cancer and unsure if radiation or chemo will be needed at this point.
Jack had surgery to have an external drain put in his brain to drain the fluid, he is also having a procedure done to the blood vessels that are feeding the tumor.
Jack had 12 hours of surgery to remove this monster from his spine, but has many more tests and procedures to go and a long uphill battle ahead of him.
Please take the time to pray for Jack to be strong and to fight. Please pray for his doctors and for their hands to do their best in surgery. Please pray for Elliot and I to have the strength to be strong for our son. And most importantly please pray for Jack to have a long, healthy, happy life.
